Most people need to follow some sort of exercise program, in order to stay healthy. Here you will find a few good reasons why you should start exercising now.

a) Contributes to fat loss, it is well proven from scientific research all over the world that physical exercise contributes to weight loss. If you burn more calories than you consume through nutrition, you will lose weight. When you exercise, you burn more calories than when you do not. It is really simple, the more you exercise, the more weight or fat you will lose.

b) Prevent disease, the chances of developing several various diseases has been proven to decrease when exercising. These
diseases include heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and the stroke.

Around four out of five deaths caused by heart disease and cancer, are linked to factors that include stress and lack of exercise. People all know that diabetes increases the chance for heart attacks and strokes. What this shows, is that many of the risk factors and diseases caused by not exercising are working in conjunction to damage your health. To prevent this from happening, start exercising.

c) Improving disease, many severe and minor diseases can be improved or even healed through regular exercise. These even
include the diseases listed above. By following a regular plan, you can also decrease HDL cholesterol levels, decrease triglyceride levels, and decrease your blood pressure as well.

Exercising on a regular basis will also reduce the risk of prostate cancer for men, breast and uterine cancer for women, and much more. All of this is scientifically proven, which is why you should start exercising today.

d) Enhance your state of mind, everyone knows from the many scientific studies that regular exercising will lead to an increased release of endorphins in the body. These chemicals will fight depression and make you feel happy. The body releases these endorphins only 12 minutes into the workout.

There is another chemical known as serotonin that is increased during and after a workout. The increased levels of serotonin in the central nervous system is associated with feelings of well being and decreased mental depression. The chemical can also help you sleep better at night.

e) Enhance your wellness, when you are in great shape and well fit, you will have more energy and you will notice that your overall mood is improved. You will have experienced that you can stretch beyond your own limits and you know that you can do more than you thought possible.

f) Persistence, exercising regularly will give you more energy, which can help you be more productive at home and at work. Exercising can help give your new goals a sense of purpose and give you something to focus on and aim for. This can help you increase your persistence and prevent you from going off track while you aim for your goal.

g) Social capabilities, after a workout on a regular basis you can boost your self esteem. This can help you look better and you will be more comfortable as well. Exercise will also help you to become more active and meet new people, which will prevent you from feeling isolated and unsupported. Exercise will also increase your interests in sex, and can help you to improve your marriage or your partner relationship.

After knowing all of these tips and reasons to exercise, you should not hesitate to get out there and exercise. You can exercise at home or go out there and join a gym. There are several different ways that you can exercise, all you have to do is select a few that you like. Take a little bit of time out of your day and start exercising, you will feel better than ever before and your body will thank you.

The Benefits Of Aromatherapy Essential Oils

The benefits of aromatherapy is the use of essential plant oils as an alternative from of medical treatment. Although its exact uses are still being explored, you should pursue this treatment if you want new and safe options for your medical condition treatment. Aromatherapy can be used to treat a variety of physical and mental illnesses, so it is becoming more popular for people who are not having success with traditional medical options.

Essential oils are most commonly used in aromatherapy procedures, although this term is often used as an umbrella term that includes true essential oils, absolutes, and CO2. Aromatherapy essential oils, it is important to note, are very different from fragrances, which also come in oil form many times. Some of the most common essential oils used in aromatherapy include sweet almond, cocoa butter, jojoba, olive, peanut, shea butter, and sunflower. Essential oils are purely produced with the plant of their name, and are highly concentrated. This differs from perfume oils and fragrances, which contain chemicals and are often diluted with water. Since there are no regulations, some companies incorrectly label perfume oils "essential." Check the label to see the ingredients to be sure you are using true essential oil.

Not all essential oils are good for aromatherapy, and some may even be hazardous to your health. Stay away from bitter almond, onion, garlic, rue, sassafras, camphor, wintergreen, and horseradish. There are other dangerous essential oils as well, so be very careful if you are attempting home therapy. It is best to seek professional help instead. He or she many use some of the aforementioned essential oils in very small doses, but aromatheripists are trained in how to use them correctly.

There are many benefits to aromatherapy essential oils. The smell can be drawn into your lungs to provide a multitude of physical and mental benefits, and the oils can be applied directly to your skin for other useful advantages. Carrier oils are used to dilute essential oils, since their power is so strong. When used improperly, because of their strength, essential oils can be very dangerous, so be sure you understand how to use them properly.

There are many aromatherapy products on the market that can be used in your home. Before purchasing, be sure that the company is not just claiming that their products are good for aromatherapy use, but that they actually do work. Sometimes other chemicals are used to give a pleasant smell, but this may be a fragrance and nothing more. This will not help you medically. One such product that you may often use in your home is the citronella candle, which has essential oils in it that act as a mosquito repellant. Other products can be used in your home in a similar way to benefit your health. Research this option fully to find out if aromatherapy essential oils can help you.

Fingernail Fungus Symptoms

By: Ryan English
Most of the nails' portion is dead and senseless, though nails carry importance in our body. Apart from protecting the skin at those terminal parts of the body, they are considered as one of the most important factors in cosmetology. You might have observed women taking extra care for their nails! Women across the world, spend millions of dollars just to shape up their nails and to polish them. But then, what happens when this important structure gets infected? Those nails that were fine long and stylish, now become ugliest structures.

A healthy nail is transparent and features pinkish as the skin beneath it is highly vascular (highly blood supplied). This we talk about the nail that is within the fingers' or toes' frame but it grows further and becomes longer, it is white with no deformities. The fungus, when attack the nail first starts digesting the substance named 'keratin' that protects the nail from damage. It is like a coating and hence, necessary for nail's shape and structure.

Fingernail fungus comes from cut, wound or poor hygiene (wet or moist nails and surrounding). It first locates by sides of the nails like cuticles and then feeds itself. It then starts growing and covers surrounding area spreading its wings. Some of the most important symptoms of fingernail fungal infections include -

1. Yellow, purple or brownish discoloration that starts at the end of the finger and working its way back underneath.

2. The nails become brittle, flaky and chipped losing its firmness and healthiness.

3. Some of the fingernail infections appear like white or black patches on the nails that cannot be removed by simply rubbing any solution.

4. Some worse cases wherein the fungal infection has grown drastically and has deep seated in skin and nail tissues, it may generate pus and so there will be highly offensive smell.

5. There will be overproduction of the 'keratin' that has been digested by fungi and therefore, there is a hint of nail being detached from its bed.

6. The nail becomes thick though brittle and it becomes hard to trip it.

7. Cutting of nail may turn into bleeding or oozing pus with pain.

8. The tenderness affects daily activity such as walking, wearing socks and shoes and if it is on hand's fingernails, holding, typing and pressing.

9. Fingernails that are affected by fungal infection start coming out of their original shape. They may bulge and get curved on any side (generally upwards or side-wards).

10. In more advanced stage, the nail may turn into something called 'powdery nail' in which, the nail becomes extremely brittle and appear as of there is yellowish powder below the nail.

Whatever the cause and symptoms fingernail fungus has, the situation is to be treated as early as possible as once it remains untouched or untreated, the fungus has full chance to spread and to cover other parts those are nearby. The entire portion may get necrosed (death of the living cell) and then finally, local incision removing the structure itself remains as the only treatment.

Motivating the unmotivated

Barbara A. Brehm has written a book for fitness professionals struggling to motivate clients. While most people know they should exercise regularly, the percentage that do is small. How do you inspire people to work out? According to Brehm, author of Successful Fitness Motivation Strategies (Human Kinetics Publications; $29), you listen to them.

"Too often fitness professionals become caught up in the science of exercise prescription before getting a sense of who their clients are and what they might be searching for," states Brehm. Before you can set clients up with a program that will keep them coming back, you have to understand who they are and what they want. To do that you must listen to what they say.

"An important listening technique is empathetic listening with full awareness and an open mind--try to put yourself in the speaker's shoes," says Brehm. "Empathetic listening is essential when a conversation is important. When it is time to listen carefully, make a decision to do so. Set the stage and shift your mind into listening mode."

Brehm discusses how to assess individuals and their stage of change--precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action or maintenance--and how to proceed from there. "It makes sense that you would approach a client already convinced of the benefits of physical activity very differently from one who does not recognize the value of regular exercise and has no intention of becoming more active," she explains.

The book includes chapters on creating positive exercise experiences, working with the clinical population, motivational strategies for group-exercise leaders and strategies for fitness centers and health promotion programs.

The Crusader vs. The Caliphate...Bush Doctrine: Destroy the Heretics of Islam

THE GREEN CURTAIN

From the Pillars of Hercules in the Atlantic to the Indonesia Archipelago in the Pacific, a vile and putrid Green Curtain threatens its descent to enshroud and enslave a vast swath of earths inhabitants. An Islamic Empire, the resurrection of the Moslem Caliphate, envelopes with greater economic and military and political power . . . able to advance their stated agenda: to develop weapons of mass destruction . . . destroy Israel . . . intimidate Europe . . . assault the American people . . . and blackmail our government into isolation. (Remarks by President Bush before the National Endowment for Democracy on the War on Terror, October, 2005).

We will confront this mortal danger to all humanity . . . We will not tire, or rest . . . we will see freedoms victory . . . we must stop them . . . we will never back down, never give in, and never accept anything less than complete victory . . . there is no peace without victory . . . we will keep our nerve and we will win that victory!

The militants believe that controlling one country will rally the Muslim masses, enabling them to overthrow all moderate governments in the region, and establish a radical Islamic empire that spans from Spain to Indonesia . . . they are fanatical and extreme . . . utterly committed . . . As Zarqawi has vowed, We will either achieve victory over the human race or we will pass to the eternal life . . . we must stop them before their crimes can multiply! (Excerpts from Bushs speech.)

THE WAR AGAINST HUMANITY

The battle lines are clearly drawn; the identity of the implacable foe utterly delineated; the sinister intentions and methodologies of this cowardly lot have been, by our President, exposed before the whole world for what they really are: THE HERETICS OF ISLAM!

Furthermore, these extremists want to end American and Western influence in the broader Middle East, because we stand for democracy and peace, and stand in the way of their ambitions (as quoted by Osama bin Laden, Al Qaedas leader): (We) dedicate our resources, sons and money to driving the infidels out of (our) lands . . . The whole world is watching this war and the two adversaries (viz. Western Civilization vs. Islamic Civilization) . . . Its either victory and glory, or misery and humiliation! (OBL).

The President likened Radical Islams . . . war against humanity (i.e., the civilized world) to the struggle against fanatical despots like Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Potbranding them all as EVIL MEN, obsessed with ambition and unburdened by conscience.

Theirs is a murderous ideology . . . the great challenge of our new century! They are the killers of Daniel Pearl, Nicholas Berg, Margaret Hassan and of Theo Van Gogh. They justify their random killings . . . because I believe you are an infidel.

They hide behind the veneer of religious rhetoric . . . (they wish to) rule the soul itself . . . While promising a future of justice and holiness. Indeed, the Presidents religious definitions/expressions swirl throughout his entire speech: The excuses for violence (range from) the Israeli presence on the West Bank . . . the U.S. military presence in Saudi Arabia . . . the defeat of the Taliban . . . or the CRUSADES of a thousand years ago.

COMMUNISMS IDEOLOGY WAS DEFEATEDSO WILL THEIRSWITH AN IRON FIST

President Bush asserts that we have been at war for the past quarter of a century against this ubiquitous foe. He likens the present struggle against Islamo-fascism, Islamic radicalism, militant Jihadism to the ideology of communism . . . gulags . . . the Cultural Revolution . . . and the killing fields. The victory the West won against the by-gone totalitarian aims of communism, will repeat its triumph over the rise of a deadly enemy and the unfolding of a global ideological struggle.

Not only do those who aspire to the resuscitation of the Caliphate wish to expunge the Wests influences from the broader Middle East, they, according to Bush, regard Iraq as the central front in their war against humanity. Iraq has becomefor better or worsethe central front in Americas War on Terror. If the militants persist in Iraq, they will rally the Muslim masses . . . overthrow all moderate governments in the region . . . and establish a radical Islamic empire (i.e., the Caliphate).

But, again, as the communists suffered defeat, even so, they who claim that Americans are the most cowardly of Gods creatures (i.e., Mr. Zarqawi) shall likewise condemn themselves to isolation, decline, and collapse . . . because free peoples will own the future. No, the US will not leave a vacuum in Iraq for their dastardly aims to multiply . . . they will be crushed by Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, OPERATION IRON FURY, OPERATION IRON FIST . . . ad nausea, ad infinitum.

OPERATION IRON FIST IS BIGGER THAN IRAQ

Alas! The US military has no end in announcing yet another operation to smash the burgeoning insurgency now, according to CNN (October 15, 2005), flush with some 200,000 militants . . . wherein some 10,000 have been slain, 30,000 imprisoned and some 300 to 400 infractions occur each week! Iron-Bullet, Fist, Force, Fury, Grip, Hammer, Justice, Promise, Resolve, Saber . . . and the list continues to grow! (List of Military Operations and Non-Military Operations) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_military_missions,_operations,_and_projects#Second_Invasion_of_Iraq)

In addition to this must win aforementioned iron resolvea sort of Triumph of the Will-style determinationepitomized by President Bush himself, those helpers and enablers of the would-be Caliphate, SYRIA and IRAN, shall NOT go unpunished . . .

. . . authoritarian regimes, allies of convenience like Syria and Iran, that share the goal of hurting American and moderate Muslim governments, and use terrorist propaganda to blame their own failures on the West and America, on the Jews . . . were determined (against Syrian and Iran) to deny radical groups the support and sanctuary of outlaw regimes . . . STATE-SPONSORS like Syria and Iran have a long history of collaboration with terrorists, and they DESERVE NO PATIENCE FROM THE VICTIMS OF TERROR. The United States makes no distinction between those who commit acts of terror and those who support and harbor them, BECAUSE THEYRE EQUALLY AS GUILTY OF MURDER (Applause from audience). Any government that chooses to be an ally of terror has also chosen to be an enemy of civilization . . . and the civilized world must hold those regimes to account.

Be it abundantly clear to the entire world: SYRIA and IRAN, the enemies of civilization, shall be held to account . . . they are the enemies of civilization . . . THEYRE EQUALLY GUILTY OF MURDER!

Not only is Bush determined to extinguish the spiritual aspirations of Caliphate from the OBLs of the world, and not only will he prohibit their acquisitions of any state, but he most certainly will in accordance with his military plan and offensive operations . . . clear out enemy forces from those states which collaborate with terrorists!

Listenfirst SYRIA is mentioned, then IRAN . . . is that coincidental? I think notfor it is in that precise order that freedom and democracy shall extend her grip on the region!

The enemy shall be denied control of any nation! For this very reason was the Taliban ousted from Afghanistan; and, it is for this very reason why the US co-labors with Musharraf to oppose and isolate the militants in Pakistan.

To achieve all the above stated goals, the noble extensions of DEMOCRACY and HOPE shall be spread across the broader Middle East.

DENYING JIHADISTS RECRUITS THROUGH DEMOCRACY

Yes, we shall deny the militants future recruits by replacing hatred and resentment with democracy and hope across the broader Middle East . . . theres no alternative . . . OUR FUTURE AND THE FUTURE OF THAT REGION ARE LINKED . . . America is making this stand!

Indeed, as Condi Rice clearly enunciated American foreign policy in February of 2005 at the American University in Cairo:

For 60 years, the United States pursued stability at the expense of democracy in the Middle East and we achieved neither.

Now, we are taking a different course. We are supporting the democratic aspirations of all people (American University Cairo, Feb. 9, 2005).

No longer will Middle East despots receive a polite nod from their Western patrons; instead, they shall be vanquished from their dictatorial ways, from their absolutist and tribal monarchiesonce and for all!

Yes, a different course altogether different! What you are witnessing here is an all out diplomatic-military effort to radically alter the course of Middle Eastern history/culture through the aggressive propagation of democracyfor Wars are not won without sacrifice -- and this war will require more sacrifice, more time, and more resolve.

This war, according to Bush, is fought on two levels, two primary fronts: The terrestrial (earthly/military) and the psychological (ideological battle for the minds and hearts of the people). Notwithstanding the overt attempt to persuade the world that such be the case, there is anotherthough it be deeply embedded within the rhetoric of his doctrine discharged before the National Endowment for Democracy: The CELESTIAL!

THE SPIRITUAL CONFRONTATION OF THE AGES

Evil men, obsessed with ambition and unburdened by conscience, must be taken very serious(ly)and we must stop them before their crimes can multiply. There is, most definitely, religious symbolism and tone throughout the Presidents impassioned pleas for freedom and democracy. To conclude otherwise misses the entire significance of the speechits raison dtre. To bestir, persuade, and enflame the conscience to sacrifice in defeating this global contagionhe must couch the parameters of the conflict in terms of spirituality! For . . .

These extremists distort the idea of jihad into a call for terrorist murder against Christians and Jews and Hindus . . . Muslim scholars have already publicly condemned terrorism . . . Whoever does such a thing is not a Muslim, nor a religious person (Chapter 5, Verse 32 of the Koran).

Here is one who decisively marshals the resistance of his implacable foe at the very root of their strength: The Spirit! It is mandatory that he split Islamacclaim the foundations of Mohammed are predicated upon PEACE!

Naturally, and historically, the foundations of Islam, and the emergence of the Caliphate wrought the separation of the Sunni and the Shiite sects of Islam:

The rulership of Islam; caliph, the spiritual head and temporal ruler of the Islamic state. In principle, Islam is theocratic: when Muhammad the Prophet died, a caliph [Arab.,=successor] was chosen to rule in his place. The caliph had temporal and spiritual authority but was not permitted prophetic power; this was reserved for Muhammad. The caliph could not, therefore, exercise authority in matters of religious doctrine. The first caliph was Abu Bakr . He was succeeded by Umar , Uthman , and Ali . Sunni Muslims recognize these first four, or Rashidun (the rightly guided), caliphs. Shiites , however, recognize Ali as the first caliph. After Ali"s death, Muawiya became caliph and founded the Umayyad dynasty (661-750), chiefly by force of arms. Its capital was Damascus. In 750 the Abbasid family, descended from the Prophet"s uncle, led a coalition that defeated (749-50) the Umayyad family. (http://www.encyclopedia.com/html/c1/caliphat.asp).

But, one thing is altogether certainIslams religious tolerance, though incessantly touted as widespread and obviouswas and is hardly the case! All the rhetoric to the contrary, Islams toleration of Christian, Jew, Hindu, or of Buddhism/Confucius, is NOT borne out in the record. That is precisely why Bushs appeal to religious freedom (and he knows exactly how this sounds in the Westsecular and/or religious) does NOT play out in Islam:

We"re standing with dissidents and exiles against oppressive regimes, because we know that the dissidents of today will be the democratic leaders of tomorrow. We"re making our case through public diplomacy, stating clearly and confidently our belief in self-determination, and the rule of law, and religious freedom, and equal rights for women, beliefs that are right and true in every land, and in every culture. (Applause.)

Does he know what he is saying? He most assuredly does! Imagine the sound of religious freedom and equal rights for women in the ear of Islam? Is he aware how this reverberates within the hearts and souls of all who aspire for the Caliphate? He certainly does.

Does such rhetoric enflame the masses of those who oppose his policies in the Middle Eastthough they are altruistic and even noble in their essence? Could he have left this out of his speech without compromising his persuasions for democracy and freedom for all Islamic peoplesespecially in the Middle East? Perhaps? But I doubtbesides, he MUST galvanize the Wests opposition to the tyrannical evil who opposes themand there is no greater appeal (certainly not the ideology of democracy) that will heighten the confrontation against another evil empire than the call to RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.

The very first phrase and article of our beloved Constitution enshrines it: FREEDOM OF RELIGION! Barbara Walters interview with Saudis King Abdullah skirted the issue of religious freedomlest the progressive king (keeper of the shrines of Islam) should be unfavorably embarrassed!

Indeed ABC headlines the article regarding the civil rights of Saudis women, but tip-toes around the more inflammatory issue of religious freedom; instead, we read this artful insinuation into the text of the story:

In the two months since becoming Saudi Arabia"s new monarch, King Abdullah has continued to walk a diplomatic tightrope, assuring the West particularly the United States of his country"s commitment to reform and assuring domestic religious leaders of his commitment to Islamic law and tradition. (http://abcnews.go.com/2020/International/story?id=1207382&page=1&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312)

King Abdullah knows full well that it is mandatory to placate domestic religious leaders of his commitment to Islamic law and tradition! And, what might that Islamic law and tradition dictate:

Saudi Arabia is an Islamic monarchy without legal protection for freedom of religion, and such protection does not exist in practice. Islam is the official religion, and the law requires that all citizens be Muslims. The Government prohibits the public practice of non-Muslim religions. The Government recognizes the right of non-Muslims to worship in private; however, it does not always respect this right in practice. (Note: This little tidbit of information is propagated by the US State Department:

Can the Saudis have it both waysbe an alleged ally of the US in the War on Terror (as President Bush claims they are) while prohibiting freedom of religion? We"re encouraging our friends in the Middle East, including Egypt and Saudi Arabia, to take the path of reform, to strengthen their own societies in the fight against terror by respecting the rights and choices of their own people. In that very paragraph of his speech Bush touts the concept of religious freedom!

SOCIALISM & ISLAM HAVE A COMMON FOE

The worldthat is, the Western Worldreeled under the religious and social reverberations of the Reformation in the 1400-1500s. Few realize the profound socio-political upheavals wrought by the first manifestations wrought by religious freedom as a result of the breakup of Catholicisms monopoly. One forgets the brutal suppression of the Peasants Revolt. Thomas Munzer, who experimented with a new spiritual kingdom, was perhaps the first in the relatively modern era to embrace communist theory and practice!

He denounced established governments, and advocated common ownership of the means of life. After a tour in south Germany be returned to Mulhausen, overthrew the governing body of the city, and established a communistic theocracy. The Peasants War had already broken out in various parts of Germany; and as the peasantry around Mulhausen was imbued with Munzers teaching, he collected a large body of men to plunder the surrounding country. He established his camp at Frankenhausen; but on the 15th of May 1525 the peasants were dispersed by Philip, landgrave of Hesse, who captured Munzer and executed him on the 27th at Mulhausen.
http://www.1911encyclopedia.org/M/MU/MUNZER_THOMAS.htm

From here the West waited until the French Revolution to experiment with capitalisms alleged opposite (now taking root in America)and a Tale of Two Cities could not have been told so well! Socialisms rebirth caved to dictatorship (Napoleon) and to ultimate monarchy again.

Never totally lost in the consciousness of thinkerscommunism lurched forward and Marxist Socialism/Communism became the dominant Socialist philosophy (overcoming all Christian attempts at the sameJoshua Muravchicks article: Socialism vs. Religion, details the struggle and the final victory over theism http://www.taemag.com/issues/articleid.17291/article_detail.asp).

Finally, Socialisms paradox (National Socialism and Communist Socialism) culminated in World War II and the Cold War. Finally, the Evil Empire imploded. Thus, with the violent conclusion of National Socialism, and the ignoble demise of Communist-Stalinism, as well as the birth of Chinese Neo-Communism (Party-Controlled Capitalism), the world appeared restful. Alas! One last bastion of true socialism persists (aside from North Korea/Cuba): The oligarchs of the Middle East!

Baath(ist) Socialism in Iraq, Syria, and Libya incorporate a toxic amalgam of Islam and Socialism similar to the German Nazi combination of new age neo-paganism and socialism. Islamic nations have no defined concept of separation of powers, an independent judiciary, private property, free enterprise, free speech or free press.

Non-Islamic minorities, called Dhimmis, are allowed to live at the whim of the state as long as they submit to second-class status and pay a yearly extortion. This way they are allowed, in most cases, to live yet another year without converting to Islam. Islamic defenders refer to this system as an example of Islamic tolerance.
(Free Republic-- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/565936/posts)

It is no small secret that Baathist Socialism and the Left, in general, share a common consternation towards the American New World Order Systema system wherein the rich get richer and the poor, poorerwhere the disparity of wealth continues unabated; NOTWITHSTANDING ALL THE RHETORIC TO THE CONTRARY!

In his classic text, Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left, David Horowitz provides a damning critique of Americas Leftextrapolating their connivance with radical Islam and likening it to the Hitler-Stalin Pact of the 20th Century. In other words: They will stop at no lengths to attack Babylon the Great!

I have meandered all over the socio-political mapwithout going into elaborate detail/referenceshighlighting the American Left (world Left) and Islam (seemingly poles apart), who have purposefully and/or unwittingly ascribed to the old Arab dictum: The enemy of my enemy is my friend!

What Horowitz fails to calculate is the simple fact Americas Left is not monolithic, nor is its Right (though Im sure he gives mental ascent to this troubling thought). However, both Left and Right in Americana are loathe to outrage over the wishy-washy centera center whose pompous protestations are adjudged by both as unworthy in galvanizing any base.

THIS CRUSADETHIS WAR ON TERRORISM

I have presented before you a decisively religious understanding on the part of our President in his efforts to stay the course and rally American public opinion to his cause. Without projecting the tone and substance of this debate within the nomenclature of evangelical rhetoriclet alone ideological terminologythe American public will NOT persist in the efforts of the one who (along with Americas representatives) first announced immediately after 9/11:

They have attacked America because we are freedom"s home and defender; this crusade, this war on terrorism, is going to take a while, but we will rid the world of the evil-doers. President George W. Bush (September 16, 2001)

We are coming after you. God may have mercy on you, but we won"t, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

Bomb the hell out of them. If there"s collateral damage, so be it. They certainly found our civilians to be expendable, Sen. Zell Miller (D-GA).

Deputy Secretary of Defense (Now President of the World Bank) Paul Wolfowitz says that we are going to end states that sponsor terrorism, and our entire government puts the world on notice that everyone must choose sides, that we no longer differentiate between terrorists and the countries they may live in, and that they are either with us or against us (Ramzi Kysia, The Last Crusade
http://www.bodydharma.org/choices/violence/kysia.html).

Furthermore, the relentless barrage launched by the Bush Administration in the globalization of the War on Terror is laced throughout with the hyperbole of religious expressionno wonder Rayan El-Amine posits what lies within most Moslem minds (notwithstanding the Moslem Silent Majority of moderates):

The green menace has replaced the red menace, and the evil empire of the cold war has become the less eloquent, but just as deadly, evil doers of the Arab and Muslim world . . . The backward and seemingly static image of the Arab that Oliphant (i.e., Pat Oliphant), Hollywood and the Bush administration have projected comes from classic colonial notions of Western superiority. The rhetoric by George Bush and Condoleezza Rice about bringing freedom and democracy to the Arab world is no different from the British and French in the 19th century talking about civilizing India and Africa. Neo-conservatives and right wing think tanks see the Arab world as a colonial project in which Arabs need to be subdued and civilized. Edward Said, in his definitive work of how the West sees the East, Orientalism, explains how the same system of analysis justifies control and superiority today.
(Muslim Wake Up http://www.muslimwakeup.com/main/archives/2005/05/the_making_of_t.php)

IMMOVABLE OBJECT MEETS IRRESISTABLE FORCE

When I first heard the remark about an immovable object meets an irresistible force it was presented in the context that if there were a God, could He make an object so large that He could not move it? And, ipso facto, if He could make such an object, then He wouldnt be God!

This convoluted reasoning is, nonetheless, politically valid in the context of the socio-religio imbroglio of the War on Terror. What comfort does the world embrace to know that most insurgencies last a minimum of nine years? (In a March, 2005 press conference, General George Casey, the U.S. military commander in Iraq, pointedly noted that insurgencies typically last nine yearsThe New Republic--
http://www.tnr.com/doc.mhtml?i=w050531&s=ackerman060305) . . . this flap of the chops was once vigorously subdued by the Administration; now, however, its a reasonable statement as the war drags on and on!

YOUR COVENANT WITH DEATH AND YOUR AGREEMENT WITH HELL (Isaiah 28:18)

Meanwhile, in their article, A New Vision for a New World, Roger Morris and Steve Schmidt in Counter Punch, among other items, present a rather innocuous, yet potent prophetic prospectand, since Morris served on the National Security Council Staff under Presidents Johnson and Nixon, his foreign policy initiatives should not be taken lightly . . . first, he is NOT touting the Presidents National Endowment for Democracy pronouncements . . . no, he is allegedly proposing a comprehensive resolution to the current administrations foreign and domestic crisis from a decidedly left-leaning (to say the least) perspective:

The war on Iraq is a strategic disaster. Unilateral invasion and a bloody, profiteering, open-ended occupation have torn our alliances, cost unparalleled international hostility and distrust, heightened a still-misread, thus still-undeterred threat of terrorist vengeance, further swollen a malignant budget deficit, strained US ground forces as never before, and altogether drained and diverted the nation amid a host of other grave problems. Added to America"s unremitting complicity with Arab dictatorships and with an Israeli regime gone from self-defense to colonization, subjugation and Berlin-wall apartheid vis--vis the Palestinians, the debacle in Iraq compounds an escalating crisis. The contrast between our declared anti-colonial, democratic ideals and our conquest of Iraq is seen as flaunted hypocrisy in our centuries-old image of standing for freedom and the downtrodden. We risk an epochal change in the cultural belief systems of hundreds of millions, an alienation from and hatred of America for generations to come with incalculable consequences.

But then this curious possibility stands out in glaring distinction amid their imperatives, though clothed in the language of political balance:

To Israel - we would pledge, by treaty and a joint resolution of Congress, that any invasion of its pre-1967 territory would be equivalent to an attack on the US, obliging our full defense. We would urge other powers to join that guarantee. With or without others, however, America"s commitment to a just and lasting Israeli-Palestinian peace would be unequivocal. If Israel failed to withdraw forces and provide for colonists to return, it would be the US position that dispossession of the Palestinians is a multiple threat to the peace, our principled support since 1947 does not extend to a geo-political mutual suicide pact, and in refusing to act responsibly, Israel will be sanctioned like any other international obstructer.
(October 11, 2005-- http://www.counterpunch.com/morris10112005.html)

The reasoned remarks that guarantee Israels security in light of their compliance, cooperation, and sacrifices for peace and coexistence with a sovereign Palestinian State, though proposed by the Left, would be strongly supported by the Religious Right in America, let alone the Republicans! The April 19, 2005 JERUSALEM RESOLUTION reads as follows:

Jerusalem Resolution (Introduced in Senate)
Providing for the recognition of Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel before the United States recognizes a Palestinian state, and for other purposes.
SJ 14 IS 109th CONGRESS 1st Session

Among the resolutions numerous affirmations, these biblical confirmations are most notable:

(1) Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people for 3,000 years.
(2) Jerusalem has never been the capital for any other state other than for the Jewish people.
(3) Jerusalem is central to Judaism and is cited in the Tanach, the Hebrew Bible, 766 times.
(4) Jerusalem is not mentioned by name in the Koran.

To what am I alluding? The political climate on both sides of the aisle has reached prophetic convergence the USA is set to enter into a binding accord to underwrite the peace with Israel, unequivocally, unprecedented, and expeditiously.

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many (the Jewish people) for one week (i.e., Seven Yearsthe 70th Prophetical Week of Daniel the prophet); but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering (Daniel 9:17a).

Though some expositors crudely abuse the context of this above referencethey do so in complete disregard for both the original language and its English translation-and to their own peril. They claim that the antecedent of he in Daniel 9:27a refers to the Messiah (i.e., Christ) mentioned in Daniel 9:26a (And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off but not for Himself)while they ignorantly and stubbornly circumvent the entire sequential nature of the complete text (Daniel 9:26-27).

The Messiah has already been cut off --- if you would, He is in no sequential position to either conclude (i.e., as in the original language, impose a defense pact) nor terminate such a covenant or, as in the original language, impose a defense pact with the many (i.e., Israel). For one, He is out of the pictureinstead, another vile creature is left to carry out this subterfuge; this deceptive guise of assurance is none other than: The Antichrist! The Anti-Messiah! The False Deliverer!

And the people (the Roman legions under Titus) of the prince who is to come (i.e., The Coming Prince of Sir Robert Andersons classic text-- http://www.whatsaiththescripture.com/Voice/The.Coming.Prince.html) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (the Romans did so in 70 A.D.) . . . then he (i.e., the prince who is to come) shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week . . . (Daniel 9:26b and 27a).

This is not a new interpretationwhat is new about it is the ominous identity of this final artifact of evil! That nigh two-thousand years separates the destruction of Jerusalem under Titus, until the Coming Prince is revealed, is a classic Jewish prophetic style in apocalyptic literature (Note: Our other writings on The-Tribulation-Network discuss this technique. http://www.the-tribulation-network.com/)

Israels complicity in concluding this infamous accord with the aforementioned figure mentioned in Daniels accounti.e., the coming princeproves the words of Jesus: I have come in My Fathers name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive (John 5:43).

Undoubtedly, such an agreement, defense pact, will, as Scripture concludes, initiate from the prince who is to comefor it is he who causes (it) to bear or imposes the accord. Nevertheless, the seductive nature of the deception to a war-wary Israel will be heralded as divine deliverance at last!

PEACE & SAFETY...THEN COMETH SUDDEN DESTRUCTION

When they say, Peace and safety! then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman . . . and they shall not escape (I Thessalonians 5:3).

The above text occurs within the context of the Apostle Pauls prophetic burst and defense of the same: Do not despise prophecies! (I Thess. 5:20). He is speaking about the Day of the Lord and likens it to a thief in the night (I Thess. 5:2).

MOVING TO CANADA IS A JOKE...The Economic, MIlitary, andsocial Integration of North America

Eh? I can think of scores of reasons to move to Canada (or opt for the Mexican Riviera) . . . any place but Babylon the Great: The USA. The War in Iraq . . . or better yet: The entire Military-Industrial Complex sucking the life-blood out of Americana for starters (Witness the latest revelations on Operation Able Dangersee below). Or, how about the whole hedonistic culture of greed, avaricious appetites, and super sizing all things godly and ungodlyfrom Hollywood to Mega Churches; indeed, ours is a city set on a hill which cannot be hid but the closer you get to this glittering jewel, the more it resembles the Little Shop of Horrors, you know, that flesh-eating plant crying out: Feed me, Seymour!

Conspicuous consumption of a nation which spends .8 Billion more each day than the whole earth combined and finds herself some Trillion in debt (National Debt + Balance of Payment/Trade Debts) is a bit too much, wouldnt you say?after all, she represents but 5% of the worlds population.

Come on, half the eagle is in a declared state of emergency and the overt identification by Big Brother of all things human is prepared and/or is itching to pounce upon American liberties once thought sacrosanct by both the ACLU and the NRA by euphemistic legislation called Patriotic Acts, and finally, a cashless society where all of us are implanted with chips awaiting true identity and debit through scanning devices at your local Safeway.

The clock is ticking. Peak oil, where Americans zero sum game is played outfor you to gain I must looserefuses to share her bounty with the Asian tigers of China and India; and, of course, they are more than pleased with our indulgence. Like Rome, our legions amongst the worlds provinces, are stretched thinand the draft cant be all that far off if were to maintain our economic edge and SUV-lifestyle (latest stats for the past two years show that 58% of all vehicles purchased in the USA are SUVs, pickups, or plain old gas guzzlers). And, as if these outrageous consequences werent enough to abandon shiptoss in the worst natural disaster ever to afflict the homeland: Katrina; man, wait till we finance that one-let alone Ritas upcoming cataclysm.

(Sorryit only gets worsenow what appears as the Mother of All Cover-ups: Operation Able Freedom.)

ABLE DANGER The Militarys Dirty Little Secret Wont Stop the North American Union!

Ultimately, the backdrop of this military integration of North America and the 9/11 trauma which ignited its on-going consolidation and coordination, stems from the US militarys exposure, refusal to deal with overwhelming evidence, denial and cover-up wrought by Operation Able Danger (OAD).

OADs now one of the hottest Senate Investigations going on in the midst of Hurricane Rita. Pennsylvania Congressman Curt Weldon has been leading the charge to expose one of what could be tabbed the most outlandish cover-up in American military history. This week (September 18-24) the Senate attempted to widen the probe and just why four military personnel were gagged by higher ups and just where is the military going with thischeck out these incriminating highlights featured @ Double Toothpicks: (http://www.christnu.org/abledanger911/index.php) . . . heres what we know so far

In 1999, the Pentagon established an intelligence unit called Able Danger, assigned to seek out and identify al-Qaeda cells and members for U.S. Special Operations Command. This group reportedly used data mining from open sources.
Approximately August or September 2000, Able Danger identified an al-Qaeda cell in Brooklyn. An intelligence official and Rep. Curt Weldon claim that the AD unit identified Mohammed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, Khalid al-Mihdar and Nawaf al-Hazmi, and included a photo of Atta. (Weldon claims that he has spoken to four persons involved with the program.) At least two of those men were pilots on the hijacked flights.

Able Danger analysts recommended the information be passed on to the FBI so that the cell could be rounded up. Accounts in Government Security News, the New York Times, and the Associated Press indicate that Pentagon lawyers decided that anyone holding a green card (as it was believed the cell members did) had to be granted essentially the same legal protections as any U.S. citizen. Thus, the information Able Danger had gathered could not be shared with the FBI, the lawyers concluded. This is in keeping with the wall philosophy and policy established in 1995 by Assistant Attorney General Jamie Gorelick, in which intelligence and law enforcement were directed to go beyond what the law requires to keep intelligence-gathering and criminal law enforcement separated.

The prohibition against sharing intelligence on Atta and the others should not have applied since they were in the country on visas. They did not have permanent resident status.

At least two 9/11 Commission staffers were told of Able Dangers findings on at least two occasions by members of the military intelligence community. ( Double Toothpicks ).

Today (Sept. 21, 2005) on the Savage Nation (Radio Talk Show Host Michael Savage) questioned Rep. Weldon about this pending fiasco. Amazinginformation amassed by the military on OAD was equivalent to one-quarter of all data compiled at the Library of Congress! Gone, disappeared (so we are told). The Double Toothpick piece implicates both political parties in this Category 5 Cover-up.

Where is all this going? Americas suffering from disaster to disasterand how the military (though the jury on 9/11 appears to be reconvening) appears to have managed to conceal this information is beyond the palebut, listen, this wont stop the realignment and movement from Confederacy (where we are now) to total UNION. Our security, economy, and social order demand it. The political pundits (CFR), all three of the militaries (NorthCom), and the social order (the need for greater North American security) have converged: THE UNION OF FEDERATED REPUBLICS OF NORTH AMERICA is now on the radar.

So . . . isnt it about time to flee to Canada or head for the Mexican Riviera? Eh? Canadas a safe haven for pot-people and same-sex marriage is the rage. Crimes relatively low compared to the lower 48 and the death penaltys been outlawed for nearly thirty years. Finally, most of the 125,000 Viet-Nam Era draft dodgers who fled to Canada stuck around and now constitute the leading edge of all the above progressive life-style. Wow, were talkin about socialized medicine for alla veritable paradise compared to the inflictions of them patriots down under. Cheap drugs (includes tons of cannabis), affordable housing, tiny military budget, etc., etc.a little cold, but youll get used to it.

Finally, if Hollywoods collective apoplexy over President Bushs election can be believedwere outta here . . . a few of these righteous indignations (unfulfilled) are duly noted, if for nothing else, their entertainment value. Notwithstanding the Hollywood stars and directors who claimed exodus was their only option under BushBarbra Streisand, Alec Baldwin, Michael Moore, Robert Altman, Lynn Redgrave, Pierre Salinger (now deceased), and Cherall found the allure of Babylon on the Hudson irresistible; so much for leftist vibratos. Misquoted or just plain fluffthey all abide within the walls of the crystal palace celebrating the party atmosphere, as they star in a movie sequel to the Left Behind Series entitled: Talk is Cheap, Follow Us.

ECONOMIC INTEGRATION VIA NAFTA, CAFTA, FTAAEnter the Three Amigos

Patriots would exclaim were selling off and out America; globalists would see dollars galore; socialists would see an on-going rip off; and a whole bunch of people in the middle could care less (a.k.a. victims anonymous).

Meanwhile Deanna Spingola in Building a North American Community (July 15, 2005) keeps telling it like it is:

While our sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers having been spilling their blood in the sands of Iraq under the guise of restoring the country to the Iraqi citizens, our president is in the process of giving our country to the elite One World Order insiders. While our president is requiring protected borders in Iraq, he is obliterating, not only our southern, but our northern borders.

Actually, Deanna (and youve got to read her entire article) is referring to the Bush/Fox/Martin meeting (USA/Mexico/Canada) held at Baylor University in Waco, Texas on 23 March 2005, where they were busy about establishing the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America to wit, the SPPNAs troika:

We, the elected leaders of Canada, Mexico, and the United States, have met in Texas to announce the establishment of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.

Over the past decade, our three nations have taken important steps to expand economic opportunity for our people and to create the most vibrant and dynamic trade relationship in the world (i.e., NAFTA; my insert). Since September 11 2001, we have also taken significant new steps to address the threat of terrorism and to enhance the security of our people.

But much still remains to be done. In a rapidly changing world, we must develop new avenues of cooperation that will make our open societies safer and more secure, our businesses more competitive, and our economies more resilient.

Our Partnership will accomplish these objectives through a trilateral effort to increase the security, prosperity, and quality of life of our citizens. This work will be based on the principle that our security and prosperity are mutually dependent and complementary, and will reflect our shared belief in freedom, economic opportunity, and strong democratic values and institutions. It will also help consolidate our efforts within a North American framework, to meet security and economic challenges, and promote the full potential of our people, by reducing regional disparities and increasing opportunities for all.

COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONSTheyre at it again!

Now dont go conspiratorial on me . . . hee-hee . . . dont need to . . . let the truth speak for itself:

It was on May 17, 2005 the CFR formalized its Independent Task Force to review at length the parameters of such a three-pact agreement among the USA, Canada, and Mexico. This 31-member force de jure was chaired by John F. Manley, Pedro Aspe, and William F. Weld and vice-chaired by: Robert A. Pastor, Thomas P. dAquino, Andrs Rozental. Cooperating with the CFRs efforts were the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales.

Indeed, the composite document released by the aforementioned is the very title of Spingolas article . . .

No wonder that Spingola and other American patriots view this as the Great American Give-a-way!

Take a gander at their timid prognostications and guess why moving to Canadas a joke . . .for what NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) could not destroy, FTAA (Free Trade Area/Agreement of the Americas . . . a.k.a. Building a North American Community) fully intends:

"We are asking the leaders of the United States, Mexico, and Canada to be bold and adopt a vision of the future that is bigger than, and beyond, the immediate problems of the present . . . they could be the architects of a new community of North America, not mere custodians of the status quo." (Canadian co-chair, John P. Manley, Former Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance).

CHRISTIANS ARE THE MOST VULNERABLE

Now, listen to Spingolas assessment of all thisand, dont think shes some brainless Libertarian gone amok down in Texas somewhere . . .

This basically means that Americans must give up their freedoms and hard won sovereignty along with all resources for the greater good of the New Community. It is a socialistic equalization designed to make slaves of everyone in all three countries. This will occur as a result of the secret, subversive activities of our ruling elitist who have never sacrificed anything except their integrity. When it comes time to sell this socialistic venture, Bush will adopt his multipurpose Christian stance and use every possible guilt maneuver to encourage this good hearted Christian country to open our hearts to the less fortunate. This is a ploy to make all of us less fortunate. There will be many who will fall for this scam under the pretext of Christianity. If we think Christians are media maligned now, just wait! We will be the most hated inmates in the camp!

Wow! Powerful projections here, right? Im sure well somehow meet up with Spingola one dayif not in glory, then in some gulag cell contemplating how all of this got out of hand . . . I mean, if Shirley McClain went out on a limb, Spingolas going out on a twig:

All of this is done under the facade of protecting us from terrorists? The worse terrorists we face are those who serve in our government. Another day that shall live in infamy, 9/11, has done much to serve the purposes of those whose main goal is to establish the One World Order. What an opportunistic event! It couldnt have worked any better if they had planned it!

O CANADA VIVA MEXICO Life is good!

Of course most Americans, Canadians, and Mexicans cant stomach all of this unification at once; thus, the GREAT TRANSITION awaits us all:

Unified military command? Listen to what the CFR plans for your future:

Establish a common security perimeter by 2010.
Develop a North American Border Pass with biometric identifiers.
Develop a unified border action plan and expand border customs facilities.

The CFR web site is effusive in its sacrifice of sovereignty:

 Create a single economic space:
 Adopt a common external tariff.
Allow for the seamless movement of goods within North America.
Move to full labor mobility between Canada and the U.S.
Develop a North American energy strategy that gives greater emphasis to reducing emissions of greenhouse gases - a regional alternative to Kyoto.

Hey, and lets shoot the gap listen, were talkin INTEGRATION BIG TIME . . . and were not whistling Dixie (although we might permit that in the new North American Federation of United States as an expression of multiculturalismharkening back to the good ole days when a different form of slavery abounded) . . . so, we might have to:

Review those sectors of NAFTA that were excluded.
Develop and implement a North American regulatory plan that would include "open skies and open roads" and a unified approach for protecting consumers on food, health, and the environment.
Expand temporary worker programs and create a "North American preference" for immigration for citizens of North America.
 Spread benefits more evenly:
Establish a North American Investment Fund to build infrastructure to connect Mexico"s poorer regions in the south to the market to the north.
Restructure and reform Mexico"s public finances.
Fully develop Mexican energy resources to make greater use of international technology and capital.
 Institutionalize the partnership:
Establish a permanent tribunal for trade and investment disputes.
Convene an annual North American summit meeting.
Establish a Tri-national Competition Commission to develop a common approach to trade remedies.
Expand scholarships to study in the three countries and develop a network of Centers for North American Studies. [1]

CAESAR HAS CROSSED THE RUBICONDOWN WITH THE REPUBLIC!

Now, that doesnt sound so badin point of fact, we can sort of ease ourselves into this new North American framework. Especially enlightening are the PROGRESSIVE comments of people like William F. Weld (another co-chair) former Governor of Massachusetts and U.S. Assistant Attorney General:

"We are three liberal democracies; we are adjacent; we are already intertwined economically; we have a great deal in common historically; culturally, we have a lot to learn from one another."

Three democracies? Now, lets not mince words like Democracy vs. Republic we all know what were talking about here, right? . . . and to the Republic for which it stands. Of course, thats been turned into a prayerso much for the Republic, and so much for allegiance! Oh well, we werent all cracked up to be much of a Republic anyway, right?

CFRs been around since 1921 and Mexico/Canada duplicated these efforts in 1976 (Mexican Council on Foreign Relations and the Canadian Council of Chief Executives). CFR members frequently address House and Senate meetings who attempt to probe academia at the highest levelsand, of course, the CFR is right up there with the best (if not THE best) of them (you know, big bucks and all). Enter Dr. Robert A. Pastor, V-P, International Affairs Professor/Director, Center for North American Studies American University, speaking on the Travel Initiative within the Western Hemisphere.

THE TRAVELING PASTOR--ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL

Dr. Pastor (fourth Musketeer amongst the three) didnt have to travel far . . . he simply sat there before the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere, Peace Corps and Narcotics Affairs on June 9, 2005 and quoted the CFRs Independent Task Force (May 17, 2005) and their fine efforts to frame a new Future of North America.

In sum, Dr. Pastor accused the three nations of small-mindedness and felt that in order to secure the homeland we shouldnt zero in on U.S. interest; instead, lets stop worrying about our borders with Mexico and Canada and let her rip! Lets start thinking global here in North America.

First, lets integrate the economieswere well on our way on that one; next, lets get down socially, especially in light of 9/11 (terror, as in Nazi Germany, is a real catalyst for positive change); and, thirdly, lets forge ahead and go beyond these petty terrorists to a create a massive North American Communityno-holds-bared thinking is needed around this bastion of isolationism! All for one and one for all . . . each benefiting from the others success, while avoiding our demise when we concentrate on our problemsthats the ticket (whoops, travel-talk; no pun intended).

Pastors Center for North American Studies at American University is designed to think dynamically, think hugelet the tide rise and pick us all up! Feel the surge! As a CFR member, Pastor poured praise upon NAFTAno big deal if a few jobs have gone south. In the totality of it all, we all benefit, for is not the dictum we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, or is it that some are more equal than others, or that some benefit more than others? Oh, well, we can work out the details later, because the War on Terror trumps all.

Sure, we all might have to work for lower wages and benefits for starters; and we might, if we want to hold up the current social order, work longer hoursbut just think: More of us will be workingDads, Moms, daughters, brothers, etc. And, once in a great while, well be allowed to vacationnot bad, right?

KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE: OIL

During the latest round of Russian-American talks between Bush and Putin (this week, Sept. 11-17), the biggie was energy policy: How to secure Russian petroleum over the protestations of the Chinese and Indians? Energynow thats why the USA-Canada-Mexico deal is absolutely mandatory.

The lions share (58%) of our imported oil comes from Canada and Mexico anyway, right? So, isnt it about time we awoke and smelled the roses? Economically, were integrated and Americas insatiable love with the automobile demands that we fully integrate the livin tar out of these economies. Canada is our biggest trading partner anyway86% of all Canadian exports go to America, whereas 89% of Mexicos go northsomehow we consume it all!

Since the enactment of the North American Free Trade Agreement eight years ago, Mexico has surpassed Japan and has become the United States" second-largest trading partnerCanada is the biggest. Thanks to the open trading borders, companies in all three countries have been stretching their reach throughout North America. (Forbes, 2002).

What a difference a little time makes! Yep, ole NAFTA keeps workin its wonders. Now, over 40% of U.S. trade with Canada is intra-firm, that is, trade occurring between parts of the same firm operating on both sides of the borderand, that trade totals over 0 billion annually between the two. Insofar as Mexico is concerned, both nations are on line for 0 Billion for 2005! Thus, our little North American Free Trade Agreement is pressing in around Trillion annually, import/export.

Pastor claims that 9/11 actually threatened to cripple North American long-term integration. Help me understand the problem, Dr. Pastor. For one little ditty, we went from 3 million illegals in the 1990s to 11 million todaywere getting integrated in spite of your rhetoric!

So, the theory goes, Canada is rich in resources (and Mexicos Gulf Oil too), and Mexico is rich in cheap laborso cant we all just get along? If were getting integrated economically, in any event, maybe we can all enjoy cheaper oil at the pumpssay, by the way, that bridge in Brooklyn is going for half off this weekend only! In conclusioncant we all just get along and drive off in our Hummers into Bajas sunset or up through the Yukons wilderness?

NORTHCOM

For nearly two years now, Ottawa has been quietly negotiating a far-reaching military cooperation agreement, which allows the US Military to cross the border and deploy troops anywhere in Canada, in our provinces, as well station American warships in Canadian territorial waters. This redesign of Canada"s defense system is being discussed behind closed doors, not in Canada, but at the Peterson Air Force base in Colorado, at the headquarters of US Northern Command (NORTHCOM).

The creation of NORTHCOM announced in April 2002, constitutes a blatant violation of both Canadian and Mexican territorial sovereignty. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld announced unilaterally that US Northern Command would have jurisdiction over the entire North American region. Canada and Mexico were presented with a fait accompli. US Northern Command"s jurisdiction as outlined by the US DoD (Department of Defense) includes, in addition to the continental US, all of Canada, Mexico, as well as portions of the Caribbean, contiguous waters in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans up to 500 miles off the Mexican, US and Canadian coastlines as well as the Canadian Arctic.

NorthCom"s stated mandate is to provide a necessary focus for [continental] aerospace, land and sea defenses, and critical support for [the] nations civil authorities in times of national need.

Surprise, surprise! You see, ever since FDR sprung his attack on Canada is an attack on the USA, and the Canadians reciprocated in 1938, this little military integration thing has really gotten serious. Maybe you thought NORTHCOM was just for the Canadiansapparently, the only guys squawking about it are them draft dodgers worried about Sams long reach. Dont think were talking about a slight modification here for the Canadian Mounted Police and the Mexican Federales . . .

Donald Rumsfeld postured that North Americas geographic command center (smack dab in the Middle of the USA) is part of the greatest transformation of the Unified Command Plan since its inception in 1947.

Furthermore, as Army, Air, Naval, and Special Forces integrate, NATO and NORADs old frameworks are and will get a complete facelifti.e., you aint seen nothin yet! To facilitate this shakeup (between the USA and Canada) a Binational Planning Group (BPG) now works in tandem with NORTHCOM (BPG is a mix of US and Canadian officers.). BPG has the following goals:

to share maritime surveillance and intelligence
to coordinate binational actions involving military and civil agencies
to design and conduct joint training programs and exercises.

This means of naval and military integration came about in 2002 through the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) who initiated the BPG. The BPGs singular mission is to develop an Enhanced Canada-US Security Cooperation with the US . . . starting with a simple two-year mandate, the BPG works alongside NorthCom and NORAD in Colorado Springs.

It wont be long before the militaries of these alleged sovereign states are fully integrated. In sum, heres what Americans whove just moved to Canada have to look forward to:

And ultimately what is at stake is that beneath the rhetoric, Canada will cease to function as a Nation:

Its borders will be controlled by US officials and confidential information on Canadians will be shared with Homeland Security(Itll be easier to spot Americans living/hiding out in Canada if theyre not Canadians.)
US troops and Special Forces will be able to enter Canada as a result of a binational arrangement.
Canadian citizens can be arrested by US officials, acting on behalf of their Canadian counterparts and vice versa.

Under an integrated North American Command, a North American national security doctrine would be formulated. Canada would be obliged to embrace Washington"s pre-emptive military doctrine, including the use of nuclear warheads as a means of self defense, which was ratified by the US Senate in December 2003.
(See Michel Chossudovsky, The US Nuclear Option and the "War on Terrorism" http://globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO405A.html May 2004.)

From NATO to NORAD to NORTHCOMthings have and are changing in a big waymuch like the frog in the pan of water. As it gradually boils the frog is totally oblivious to whats about to happenonce it realizes it, its too lateO Canada . . . O Canada!

Just what is the premiere agenda of the CFR for the next ten year? First two guesses dont count: It is the total military, economic, and social integration of North America (with the also rans like Central America thrown in for good measure).

THINK NORTH AMERICAN

Yes, say it softly; say it loudlyover and over again: Im North American; Im North AMERICAN; Im NORTH AMERICAN; IM NORTH AMERICAN! Forget about America, Canada and Mexico too! Put on your North American T-Shirts and wear them proudly. Dr. Pastors parting shot was something about doing away with illegal immigration by creating more jobs in MexicoIm sure hes got Bill Clinton and George Soros vote on that one; especially, since their Global Initiative (Sept. 15, 2005) speaks to the same.

But, to help us think, well have the Travel Initiative (TI) proposed by, you guessed it: Dr. Pastor. He suggests TI be designed to allow for the legitimate flow of people but at the same time, stop smugglers and terrorists. A North American customs union with a common tariff would be in place (CET)any products that are not NAFTA would be scrutinized and even kept out of the new North American Federation (so much for Wal-Mart and the Chinese). The new North American Federated Union (NAFU, which rhymes with SNAFU or situation normal, all fouled up) would be the norm (business as usual).

Where you travel, study, and what you buy and sell (sound familiar?) would all be regulatedall in the name of controlling terrorism.

After all, North Americans are vulnerable. Imagine the most frightful possibility of a dirty suitcase bomb imported from Mexicothatll do it for sure. The Department of Homeland Security wouldas it already hasexpands and includes both Mexico and Canada. Naturally, Canadian and Mexican personnel would be incorporated into the mix, much akin to Megiddos film we featured where Mexican flags are flying around Armageddons battle fields atop tanks under US-Canadian-Mexican joint command (of course headed up by the USA or by the new Imperium)check out these flags at the battle scene:

What a difference a Katrina makes?

In another development here in Texas, the Mexican army is crossing the border to bring help to New Orleans and its stranded citizens. This is the first time Mexican military troops have crossed into Texas since 1846, during the war between the United States and Mexico that resulted in Mexico losing the vast area now known as the American southwest. The Mexican soldiers will not be armed and the 35 trucks in the convoy will be loaded with blankets, water, food and mobile kitchens.

Dont you just love integration? And, dont you think its about time to . . .

FLEE BABYLON!

In light of the Anglo-American Axis (and the defacto integration of North American and Israeli counterparts, along with the Aussies), a formidable alliance has mobilizedspurred on in the name of the War on Terror. This is the eye of the hurricanebut the bands of rain extend out in all directions, rest assured.

They who suggest that we should Flee Babylon when Babylon is all around us, enveloping us on all sides, either preclude themselves from the truth of the matter, or simply refuse to face realityignorant pride in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary attests to mans stupidity, arrogance, and even deceit. They share the naivety of those who sheltered in Gulfport, Mississippi, to ride out the storm in safetyonly to be blown to smithereens by 145 mph winds!

Why do we highlight such an insidious delusion? Because scores of utopians out there maintain that the only way to survive in the midst of Babylon is to flee her environsenvirons, unfortunately, which shortly shall encompass all of North America and virtually all the West and much of the world.

Jim Jones, Waco, Ruby Ridge, Heavens Gate, et al, represent the more bizarre attempts to escape Babylontrying to leave their Babylonian captivity, they become prisoners to their own foolishness; resulting in death and despair. Normally, these aberrant practices of escapism are championed by a strong leader who demands blind adherence. Their Hitlerian mindset drives their faithful followers into a siege mentality and a fight to the finishisolated, besieged, and driven by an uncontrollable, willful determination to prove their own Thousande Jahre Reich can free us from Babylons grip.

Thankfully, nevertheless tragically, their sphere of influence is normally inconsequentialfamily, friends, and a few idealists; yet in their wake, the residual of wreaked lives, broken friendships, family disintegrationand most in the na" http://www.article-emporium.com/writing-9971.htm Deepak Walia

THE ELEPHANT ROARED AND BROUGHT FORTH A TURD...A Case Against Democratizing the Middle East

By Doug Krieger

(An Eschatological Perspective)

The original vulgarity was bylined: The Constipation of Americas Mid-East Peace Policy!

It is with some trepidation that I embark upon this discourse; for one, out of respect for elephants, but more so because within the American framework of democracy I have so greatly benefited. Thus, to liken the extension of Americas efforts to democratize the civil administrations of Moslem stateseven with the caveat "considering cultural sensitivities"to the intestinal hardships of our beloved pacaderm is in itself cause for internal consternation, reflection, and a longing for interior relief.

"STUNT OMNES UNUM"

The current administrations mascot bears some responsibility for the chosen political metaphor; however, it must be duly noted, that this article could just as well be entitled: Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum! (Latin for: "The Jackass of Jackasses in the Centuries of Centuries", or "The Greatest Jackass in Eternity"this, and other Latin expressions in honor of Pax Americana will be duly sprinkled throughout this missive)giving equal honors to both dominate American political parties for their extended efforts at peace in the Middle East, for: Stunt omnes unum . . . they are all one!

Indeed, by giving credit to where credit is due, we must keep in mind that the commonality of purpose to secure Americas interests in the Middle East and, ipso facto, the Wests energy spicket, via propping up its Islamic dictatorships, or hastening the democratization of the region, is the continuous policy of both Democratic and Republican State Departmentsmake no mistake about it.

The Democrats differ only in the design of a better mouse trap and have no right to cast their stones of dispersion from their glass palace at the failed policies of the GOPpolicies now garbed in democratic hyperbole.

WELCOME TO THE THEOLOGICAL CALDRON

Peace in the Middle East! Better yet: What is the current administrations Mid-East Peace Policy? Road Map to Peace? Peace Process? It is prudent, though policy makers would dearly extract this fixation from the debate, the theological implicationsMoslem, Jewish, and Christianfrom this conundrum of conundrums, and why, specifically, "Jerusalem (has become) a cup of trembling (i.e., "reeling" or "drunkenness") to all the surrounding peoples . . . a very heavy stone for all peoples . . . though all nations of the earth are gathered against it" (Zechariah 12:2-3)?

The Biblical metaphor of "reeling" and "drunkenness" is actually the physical reaction of a person who trembles after imbibing a poisonous potion. You drink of this venom; you immediately go into radical convulsions, with one destination in view: death!

Initially, so it appeared our Presidents so-called lack of a coherent Mid-East peace plan at the commencement of his administration both mystified and concernedsooner or later he too would be compelled to deal with this Middle East "tar" baby. Could you blame himgrasping this "cup of trembling" portends incessant disappointment and, worse yet, staggering political liability with prurient involvement leading toas we now bemoanintractable conflict.

Yet, the greatest "Consuming Nation" ever to countenance the planetfueled by the mercurial petroleum moleculewould inevitably be sucked into this black hole whose exit strategies escape all nations.

EXTOLING OUR VIRTUESPLAIN VANILLA

Nothing like pontificatingi.e., extolling our efforts at peace in the region. This was masterfully accomplished by the Council on Foreign Relations Aaron D. Miller at the CFRs "Transition 2005: Israel, Palestine, and the Middle East Peace Process" forum in February. Dr. Millera former U.S. State Department official, having served six previous Secretaries of State by helping to formulate U.S. policy on the Middle East and the Arab-Israeli "peace process"confirmed my original thesis regarding the bi-partisan nature of our endeavors at formulating peace in the Middle East; to wit:

"The three Americans that have made the most compelling contribution in the history of American diplomacy, and there are only threetwo Republican secretaries of state, Henry Kissinger, James Baker, and one Democratic president, so it transcends party lines, Jimmy Carterall combined those qualities, with an acute sense of knowing when to intercede. That is how to do effective American diplomacy. And if in fact we were to succeed again, that is an approach that we have to come back to. (Note: Apparently, Miller dismisses President Clintons endeavors.)

In any event, bi-partisan consensus was summed up by political think tank Seeds of Peace president Miller as follows:

(1) President Bush must make the Middle East Peace Process a 24/7 top priorityworking with a diverse team of "competent" advisors.

(2) Policy must not neglect whats happening on the "ground" (i.e., realities on the ground integrate with immediate policy).

(3) The U.S. must remain in control of its own policy (i.e., dont let either side, Israeli or Palestinian/Arab, dictate).

(4) Beware of interim deals, but also beware of high-risk efforts to solve this problem quickly.

(5) Combine empathy and trust, with toughness, to both Israelis and Arabs.

Furthermore, avoidance of the black hole is uselessMiller concludes:

"If we want to supplement our war against terror, further the cause of democratization, there is no other issue that would do more to enhance our credibility than the pursuit of this one" (i.e., full engagement in the so-called "Middle East Peace Process" involving Arabs and Israelis).

Safe, reasonable, intelligent, thoughtfulyep, just plain vanilla. But the status quo of Dr. Millers world was about to be shaken with the departure of one Collin Powell, and the subsequent installation of National Security Advisor, now Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!"

"In this time of great decision, I have come to Cairo not to talk about the past, but to look to the future a future that Egyptians can lead and define.

"Ladies and Gentlemen: In our world today, a growing number of men and women are securing their liberty . . .

"After all, America was founded by individuals who knew that all human beings -- and the governments they create -- are inherently imperfect. And the United States was born half free and half slave. And it was only in my lifetime that my government guaranteed the right to vote for all of its people.

"Nevertheless, the principles enshrined in our Constitution enable citizens of conviction to move America closer every day to the ideal of democracy. Here in the Middle East, that same long hopeful process of democratic change is now beginning to unfold. Millions of people are demanding freedom for themselves and democracy for their countries" (Excerpts from Sec. of State Rices speech at the American University in Cairo, Egypt on June 20, 2005).

Naturally, Dr. Rices (later references) to democratic aspirations for the regionaddressing her audience as "ladies and gentlemen" to highlight Islamic suppression of women in generalblew the Kaffiyeh off her Arab audience.

Notwithstanding all the cultural sensitivities to the contrary . . . it is nigh impossible and absurdly ridiculous to fathom how Judeo-Christian Americana ideals and cultural backgrounds relate to Middle Eastern realities on the ground (as we speak). Never mindthe President must opine:

"America will not impose our style of government on the unwilling. Our goal instead is to help others find their own voice, to attain their own freedom, make their own way" (Rice, in her same speech, quoting from President Bushs second inaugural address, while prefacing his words with: "We are supporting the democratic aspirations of all people.").

Thus, in one-fell swoop, we witness cultural wiggle room at its height as Arab states commence their march toward freedom and Islamic-style democracy!

EGYPT MUST LEAD, AS SHE LED OF OLD

"The people of Egypt should be at the forefront of this great journey, just as you have led this region through the great journeys of the past" (Again, excerpt from the Rice speech.).

At this point, one must ponder: What Egyptian journey of the past do we contemplate? How about the slave-driven, pyramid-building, totalitarian civilizations of the Pharaohs?

Of course we Americans intuitively know what the President and Dr. Rice mean (at least we once did) . . . but driving this democratic square peg into the black, moon-shaped hole of Islamic civilization may ultimately necessitate Alexander the Greats resolution of untying the Gordian Knot he encountered at the ancient city of Gordium (100 miles west of Ankara, Turkey).

An oracle of Zeus alleged that if anyone could untie this knot, that person would be the conqueror of all Asia. Of course everyone knows, Alexander (champion of the Ancient West) cheated on the oracle by cutting the knot with his sword instead of untying itnotwithstanding, the avaricious behavior of the god Zeus still gave Alexander Asia!

Even so, the conclusion of the matter (i.e., incorporating nigh 1,500 years of Islamic civilization into Western thinking and democratic idealism first proclaimed by the Greeks) may ultimately necessitate a rather crude Greco-Roman application; simply put: CUT TO THE CHASE!

And, why might this be the case? Consider the utter futility of the West approaching the "Islamic Knot" of Asialets just consider the "lead" of Egypt toward democratic liberalization:

Nina Sheas piece on Egyptian democratic ideals tells it bluntlythe Muslim Brotherhood would be swept to power if open elections were held in Egypt:

"Mubaraks policies have created a situation in which pro-Western democrats like Ramy Lakah are silenced or driven abroad, leaving the Muslim Brotherhood as the only organized opposition within Egypt. If an open election were held this year, few doubt that the Muslim Brotherhood would win. An Islamist group, the Brotherhood has won hearts and minds through charitable work and exploited religion to thrive despite ruthless repression against it. It purportedly renounced violence in the 1970s, but its motto continues to be: Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Quran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."

And, what of Islamic Brotherhood?

"A social and political movement which started in Egypt in 1928 by Hasan al-Banna for the purpose of establishing a pan-Islamic state, transcending all current political and geographic divisions. Like those before him, al-Banna also regarded the West as posing a fundamental threat to the future of Islam. He felt that even worse than military campaigns were the attempts to import Western culture and political ideals. The root of Muslim problems was that the Sharia (Islamic law) had not been implemented - once this was accomplished, everything would be better." (Taken from: Islamic Extremism)

This is the same Muslim Brotherhood that assassinated Anwar Sadatin spite of Sadats attempts to assure them of his Islamic fidelity. Is it any wonder that the Brotherhood continues to call for "a more open and democratic political system in Egypt."

Tracing the so-called hydra-headed monster of Islamic terrorist organizations is not the intent of this discussion. One can deliberate for countless hours on this serpentine figure (Please see http://www.state.gov/s/ct/rls/rpt/fto/2001/5258.htm). But, what is of peculiar note is where Secretary Rice delivered this sea-change in American foreign policy: In the heart of Egypt, where the Brotherhood and scores of Islamicists recruit insurgents against Americas War on Terror!

IRANIAN DEMOCRACY AT WORK

While the U.S. attempts to light the fires of Iraqi liberty and democracyagainst the backdrop of rabid Islamic insurgency, London bombings, and ominous threats upon homeland US targets (Including "soft targets in the U.S. like movie theaters, restaurants and schools" etc.) (Please see: http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/005364.php), the Iranian people by the millions decide its time to elect an even more radical regime to pilot their nation through the incursions from the West!

Of course, with the election of hardliner and American hostage taker, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (though vehemently denied by Iranian authorities), at summers commencement (2005), how heartening are his initial exploits heard in the West:

"Today, we can say that nuclear technology is our right!"

How comforting too, to know that a "Greater Persia"which encompasses Southern Iraqs Shiite majorityalso awaits the full development of the democratic Islamic Republics nuclear program. Some, like Michael Rubin in Forward Magazine, conjecture that the Bush Administration has no coherent policy on Iran regarding the spread of "democracy." Dear Michaellet me disabuse you of such folly! The West, led by the Bush Administration, knows precisely how to "democratize" and, ipso facto, diffuse the Islamic Bomb! If, on the other hand, you consider this contrary to "democratic ideals" live with it.

ISLAMIC MODERATES?

There is this Western fascination, perpetrated by certain strata of its intelligentsia and fomented by both the progressive and entrenched liberal media, that the vast majority of clear-thinking Moslem leadership, when push comes to shove, is tolerant and merciful; yes, caring souls who long to live in peace with all mankind, especially with folks in the West.

Frankly, lets quit pussy-footing around with discovering a Salman Rushdie here, a Dr. Khalid Duran there, or even a Tashbih Sayyed, President of the Council for Democracy and Tolerancethese rare exceptions dwell in the ethereal world of the Wests civilization. Whats happening on Dr. Millers ground bespeaks the antithesis of the so-called moderate Moslem.

One gets this image of President Bush standing amidst a sea of moderate Moslem clerics gatheredall the while this miniscule segment of Islam is utterly overshadowed by the vast majority of mainstream believers in Allah to whom "moderate Moslem" is regarded in the Quran as an Infidel and should be treated as any Christian, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, etc.

REDUCTIO AD ABSURDUM"Reduction to Absurdity"

Let us not be so nave as to think that the face the U.S. Government projects regarding this majority of Moslem moderates existsaccept in the political world of electioneering. How foolish are they who assume that the neocons who currently implement American foreign, and increasingly, domestic policy, do not have a plan which incorporates her national interests (i.e., oil) and the "pacification" of true Islam (i.e., "radical" Islam).

The longer the War on Terror lasts, the clearer this Administrations profile of its enemy becomes. To conjure the notion that this Administration is void of religious impulse in its decision-making policies towards Islam is ludicrous to the extremenonsense, they are acutely aware that given freedom from dictatorship, Islamic fundamentalists and their legions will carry the day . . . and that may be precisely what the West wants!

Absurd? To the contraryIslam is a total way of living, not just a religion! Church and state are not separate entities as in the West. Such separation is anathema to Islam. Islamic fundamentalists in virtually every nation in the Middle East are aggressively attempting to overthrow "secular" governments like those in Algeria and Egypt.

"Civil rights" are obscene in Islam:

"Because there was no concept of personal freedom or civil rights in the tribal life of seventh-century Arabias, Islamic law does not recognize freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, or freedom of the press. This is why non-Muslims, such as Christians or Bahais, are routinely denied even the most basic civil rights.

"The despots of the Ottoman Empire and the present dictators of Libya, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, etc. are merely examples of seventh-century Arabian tyranny transplanted into modern times . . .

"Incarceration without due process; the use of torture; political assassination; the cutting off of hands, feet, ears, tongues, and heads; and the gouging out of eyesall of these things are part of Islamic law today because they were part of seventh-century Arabian culture.

"To Westerners, such things are barbaric and should not have any place in the modern world. Islam is a distinctively Arabian cultural religion. Unless this is firmly grasped, no real understanding of Islam is possible." (Robert Morey, The Islamic Invasion, 1992, p. 26)

So, to extrapolate a final resolution to "the problem" facing American foreign policy makerswhatever the administrationunfortunately revolves to reductio ad absurdum: There will be a final conflict! And, with such "conflict resolution" comes collateral damagethe kind no one wants to talk about! That leads us to a most disgusting conclusion . . .

PONS ASINORUMLiterally: "Bridge of Asses"

Pons asinorum was originally used by Euclids fifth proposition in geometry. The Latin phrase connotes "any obstacle that stupid people find hard to cross." In sum: How do we get these donkeys to cross the bridgeafter all, its for their own good!

Repeatedly heard on the air waves is the great division within the American public regarding the "real and present danger" posed by the War on Terror. The spectrum of Viet Nams humiliation, and how that war was waged through constrictive "rules of engagement" haunts us. Viet Nams retraction caused the American Empire to militarily (but not economically) acquiescesomehow they just couldnt get us to cross the bridge!

Ah, but lessons learned from past history, cannot but secure our glorious future. Yet, all-out war circa Americas declaration leveled at Fascism at the close of 1941 would be unprecedentedit would take a vile act of extreme consequence to drive the nation across that bridge!

How quickly we regressed to our original liberality after 9/11s calamitous day. Yet, Islamic tidbits along the wayBali, Spain, now London . . . how much of this can we take, before we cross that bridge? It will not take a great deal to excite the American giant to acts of all-out war. Alas, is this not what Osama ben-Laden has declared upon the West and her leadership? Hear OBL quote his sacred writings:

"Surah III (42): Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and confine them, and lie in wait for them at every place! Ambush. Again in Surah 1X (45): when you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks, then, when you have made wide slaughter among them tie fast the bonds. Then again,The Dinner Table [5.51]: O you who believe do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever, amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah (the name of their God) does not guide the unjust people."

Now, that eliminates most progressive wiggle room, doesnt it? And, just in case the legions of Islamic terrorist organizations dont convince you of their "War Against the West" let this recent London photo convince you otherwise:

Indeed, as the man hiding in the West vainly attempts to convey the reality of the matter:

"If this isn"t about Islam, added Rushdie, why the worldwide Muslim demonstrations in support of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda? Why are the wars first British casualties three Muslim men who died fighting on the Taliban side? If terrorism is to be defeated, the world of Islam must take on board the secularist-humanist principles on which the modern [world] is based, and without which Muslim countries freedom will remain a distant dream."

"The Independent reported that Rushdie"s claims were rejected by prominent British Muslims."

Thus, the case against "democracy" as we know itor even as Islam could ever know itis irreconcilably at odds with the faith of Mohammed. For the Americans and her representatives in high places to proclaim the virtues of "liberty, fraternity, and equality" to the Moslem world is nigh a declaration of all-out war. In the ears of Islam was it not this very "secular" philosophy which heralded the rise of agnostic socialism and atheistic communism? Why should Moslems succumb to two, yea three, of the devils trident spears: Secularism, Christianity, and Zionism?

GOG-MAGOGTHE ULTIMATE "ON THE GROUND" REALITY ENDING THE (THEOLOGICAL) STALEMATE

The "Little Satan" in the eyes of Islam is Israel . . . and the "Great Satan" is the USA. This implacable hatred is irreversible and is repeatedly substantiated in the Quran itself!

All the ignorant, superficial, and absurd discussion regarding peace in the Middle East will not come at the circumference of a negotiating tablebe it Camp David, Madrid, Oslo, or the incessant shuttles that forestall the inevitability of conflict; to wit:

"No matter how many peace accords are signed, this fundamental disagreement between Jews and Arabs on the basic facts remains, a disagreement which has caused (57) years of bloodshed. Echoing Islamic doctrine, the PLO denies that the Jews ever had possession of the Promised Land even under Joshua and David and claims that it always belonged to the Arabs . . . even that the Jews ever existed as a nation is denied! They are not acknowledged to be a national, ethnic group of people at all, but merely followers of a religion" ("Cup of Trembling" 1995, Dave Hunt, pp. 287-88).

Once again, the brilliance of Dave Hunt shines in his above statements . . . and he continues, like so many American evangelical Christians who await the Second Coming of Christ:

"We are moving in the direction which the Bible says will be taken. It is the road to disaster, to Armageddon, but on the way it detours through temporary peace. When they say Peace and safety, then cometh sudden destruction, wrote Paul. That statement tells us that the world must reach a point where it believes that peace has been achievedand, of course, that must involve the Middle East. Centuries earlier, Daniel, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote that it would be through peace that the Antichrist would destroy many (Daniel 8:25: "By peace shall he (Antichrist) destroy many"). Obviously it would not be genuine peace, but a pseudo peace that would weaken Israels defenses and strategic protection, making her vulnerable to destruction and encouraging her enemies to attack." (Ibid., pp. 297-98).

The necessary catalyst that will trigger the "peace" of Antichristi.e., Pax Antichristusthe singular and seminal event that will precipitate the march to Armageddonis NOT the conflagration between the West and Islam (i.e., the Gog-Magog War), but the spurious ejection or secret rapture of the very Church called to give TESTIMONY (mar-too-ree-on; Strongs #3142; cf. "martyr" and "martyrology") in the very midst of the "street of the Great City" (i.e., Babylon, Revelation 11:3-8).

No, the believing Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) is literally ejected from this tumultuous scene for the revelation of Pax Antichristus. In point of factboth Jews and Moslems are left with Antichrist himself who somehow orchestrates through subterfuge, cunning, and satanic perspicacity: Pax Antichristus!

"Very soon, millions upon millions of those living on this earth will be mysteriously snatched away from the planet and taken to heaven! Only then can the Antichrist be revealed. In fact, this event will be the catalyst that will catapult him into power at the very beginning of Daniels seventieth week. Nothing else could possibly do so" (Hunt, "Cup of Trembling" pp. 365-66).

And, I hasten to add: Nothing could be further from the truth of Scripture!

To substantiate the distortion of the Blessed Hope (which alone is the actual Second Coming of Christ and the coming of the Jewish Messiah in bodily form for all to see) Hunt surmises:

"Such an event, involving the sudden mysterious disappearance of perhaps 200 million people, is beyond our ability to imagine. It is not difficult, however, to realize what the worlds reaction will be. This world will be absolutely terrorized! The Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Presidents Cabinet, the Congress, the United Nations, and every responsible government and business and educational body will be meeting in emergency sessionstunned, devastated, trying to understand what happened to the missing million. Where did they go? Who took them? Who will be next? will be the queries on trembling lips around the world . . . after the rapture, the survival of this event will unite those remaining as nothing else could. Islamic ambitions to take over the world, the mutual hatred of Serbian Orthodox and Croatian Catholics, the animosity and suspicion between North and South Koreansthese and all other enmities will be forgotten in the mutual terror and necessity of cooperating together . . . with all the Christians removed, Satans great opportunity to take over the world has arrived. Terrified and confused, those that remain will worship anyone who can bring order and meaning out of this chaos" (Ibid., p. 366).

THE PATRIOTIC CHURCH DOESNT NEED GOG-MAGOG, TESTIMONY, OR PERSECUTION!

In a previous tome I excoriated brother Hunts faulty exegesis of Ezekiel 38 and 39 and his wishy-washy denial of nations aligned against Israel (i.e., Gog-Magog) bearing any real significance; and the horrific implications it has for both Christian and Jew, and for that matter, all peoples of the earth: http://www.the-tribulation-network.com/dougkrieger/gog_magog_or_armageddon.htm.

Furthermore, the "War Against the Evil Doers" of Islam, and the secularization of American society, has given rise to the Patriotic Church hell-bent on spreading "democratic values," "Judeo-Christian ethics," while every opportunity to evangelize the heathen (especially during the process of democratizing Islamic states) is trumpeted.

The presupposition to entertain Pax Antichristus as a result of the Churchs rapture ("coming for His saints") denies the Church her greatest witness at historys epiphanyleaving the Seventieth Week of Daniel (or what may be left of it) to the "apostate Jews" who are once again isolated and left to face the horrors of Jacobs Trouble alone.

No, this is NOT the Messianic Scenariothis is not the witness and testimony left for either the Church or Israel in the "last days" (i.e., the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11: The Two Olive Trees (Israel) and the Two Lampstands (The Church). The ultra-dispensationalist, Christian Reconstructionist, Dominionist/Theocrat, et al., Evangelical Protestants and/or Catholic/Orthodox alike, have devised religious themes which circumvent Antichrists final collision with true Christianity and covenantal Israel.

The onrush of deception and rank apostasy awaiting the faithful as the campaign to democratize the Islamic world accelerates, will, at the close of Gogs defeat, and the immediate "peace" which follows this cataclysmic confrontation, assuredly be a rapture, yea, a euphoria of exultation, as a Triumphant Christianity and a surviving Israel will herald the era of Pax Antichristus! (Note: More akin to Nazi Germanys euphoric sensations after the conquest of Poland!)

Carefully, very carefully read the sequential nature of these promisesto those of you who believeand to those who observe our folly, remember, do you really affirm that the roadmap to peace in the Middle East leads through Washington; do you?

"Now brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away (i.e., the "apostasia" (Grk.) or apostasy) comes first, and the man of sin (i.e., Antichrist) is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God" (II Thessalonians 2:1-4).

The secret rapture does not come firstthe Great Falling Away from the Faith and the revelation of the Antichrist himself occurs first! To distort the straightforward presentation of these sequential Scriptures for the sake of an elite core of Christians to escape earths most troublesome hourand her greatest ingathering of souls into the Kingdom of His dear Sonis anathema to everything for which the Cross of Christ stands! Furthermore, it is an affront to "The Cry of the Martyrs" who immediately in the Fifth Seal of the Apocalypse precede the celestial disturbances of the Sixth Seal of that same Revelation Chapter 6 and which Jesus spoke of so clearly in Luke 21:25-28i.e., the sequence is abundantly clear:

(1) The "Tribulation Saints" cry out for relief from persecution under the "wrath of the Antichrist/Beast" in the Fifth Seal of Revelation 6:9-11: "When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony (i.e., "martyr") which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth? Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed."

(Note: To theologically convolute the text and say that these "Tribulation Saints" are somehow NOT the Church (i.e., "outside of being in Christ") or to identify them solely as "Israel" (i.e., persecuted Jews) is utterly outrageous and flies in the" http://www.article-emporium.com/writing-9971.htm Deepak Walia
